Love playing Bingo? Here are bingo cards for a super fun, free printable summer bingo game!
Bingo is a game that almost everyone loves to play, no matter your age. Traditional bingo has numbers on the card, that get called out at every turn.
It’s way more fun to play bingo with these super fun, free printable summer bingo game cards. Why? Well… each sheet has a bunch of colourful summer pictures, which will put a smile on everyone’s face!
How to Play Super Fun Free Printable Summer Bingo Game.
Bingo is an easy game to play with your kids or for your kids to play with friends. Here are the steps to get you started.
Print Out Bingo Cards
To start, make sure your printer is turned on and the paper tray is loaded with paper. Open up the pdf file and click on print. A pop up box will come up, which are the printer settings. Ensure that you’re printing all 5 pages of the summer bingo that are included in the PDF document.
I’ve included 5 different bingo cards to be sure that if numerous people are playing, they won’t all get a Bingo at the same time.
Choose the Players and Hand Out the Bingo Cards
Once the players have been chosen (up to 5), hand out the summer bingo cards. Each player will have a different card.
The players will then need to have something like tokens to mark off and cover the picture as they are being called out. This can be made fun for the kids, so get creative! Provide the kids with coins and once the game is over, let them keep the change. Or maybe use candy like M&M’s or Smarties to act as tokens and once the game is over, they can have a snack by eating the candy!
Choose a Bingo Caller
Choose the person who will call out the items. They can use the attached sheet provided that has a picture of all the items on it. They can either call out the items one at a time randomly or cut up each picture individually and then pull a picture out of a bowl or hat, one at a time.
You can play this summer bingo game numerous times and switch it up by having a different person calling out the bingo pictures every time. That way everyone will get a chance to play and hopefully call out that famous word B-I-N-G-O!
Get the Game Started and Have Fun!
Once an item is called, the players will take one of the tokens they are using and they will place it over the picture of what was called out.
The first player to get a row or column covered, yells out BINGO and they are the winner of the game.
If you have competitive players, you can make it more exciting. Tell the players that the first person to have their whole sheet covered is the winner, this makes it more competitive and it also extends the length of the game.

Besides the best reason of all, being able to yell out B-I-N-G-O!!! There are other great reasons to play summer bingo.
It’s a Portable Activity
This is a game that can be played just about anywhere. So why not print out the 5 copies and call out sheet and bring them on the family camping trip. Imagine sitting around the fire, just before the sun has gone down and playing summer bingo with your family. What better fun!?
It can also be brought on vacation for those extra long car rides (or short ones!) Playing summer bingo is a fun activity and will pass the time while you’re on the road with your kids.
It’s a Great Party Activity
This is a super fun game to play at a child’s birthday party or even that of an adult! Just make sure you have the printed copies on hand and pass them out to those playing. You can have small prizes to hand out at a child’s party to those who win, which will make all the kids excited.
You can also play summer bingo at a family party, event or barbecue. Parties are normally places where people love to have fun, so just whip out those bingo game cards and get the party started!
It’s a Screen Free Activity.
This is a game that gets your kids away from their screens and out with family or friends. They can play the summer bingo game anywhere they are comfy. If they prefer to have you print them a copy so that they can bring it to their friends place, that works.
Or they can go to the park and sit under a big tree they might find to play summer bingo. This also gets them out in nature and the fresh air.
It Beats Boredom
We all have days where we’re bored and don’t know what to do with ourselves. Children are no different. Why not have a family game night where instead of a board game, you print out and play summer bingo. It’s sure to keep everyone entertained.
What is Required to Play Summer Bingo
Although playing bingo does not require a ton of things to play, you will still need to be sure to have certain things on hand.
A Great Printer
Make sure you have a printer to be able to print out the summer bingo sheets and bingo call sheet. A colour printer would definitely be best, since this summer bingo game is full of colourful pictures. Don’t forget to be sure your printer ink is full, so all the vibrant colours print out nicely!
Paper, Paper, Paper…..!
Paper is a must have to play summer bingo. So make sure you have some printer paper stocked, since you will need to print out a few sheets for this game.
Stock paper is a thicker quality of paper and is a great choice to use for printing the summer bingo. Since this is a game you DEFINITELY want to play over and over, the stock paper will help make that happen.

Keep this Super Fun Summer Bingo Game Forever!
Would you love to play this bingo game all the time? There’s an easy way to do so without having to reprint it every time. Get yourself some self adhesive laminating sheets which are super easy to use! I always make sure I have some in the house, since they’re also great for laminating kids school work.
You can also use a laminator. Either of these will allow you and your family and friends to play the game over and over and the game sheets will be plasticized. Just be sure you have some dry erase markers to use on the laminated sheets.

Fun Additional Accesories
When you play bingo, you need something to cover the pictures as they’re being called out. Get yourself some bingo stampers to use. You can also use candy Smarties or Hershey Kisses, which makes it extra fun, as you have a fun game and snack all in one!
Why not also use some folders with pockets to keep all the summer bingo sheets and any other printables. That way you won’t have papers scattered all over and you and your kids will know where to find them all the time!
