Does Quicken work with Wells Fargo? ›

When making a bill payment with Quicken from a Wells Fargo account, you should schedule your payment at least four business days before you want your payee to receive payment. To schedule a payment, enter the date you want the payee to receive your payment.

Quicken Simplifi presents this generic messaging and error when we're unable to connect to a specific bank. Usually, this occurs if the selected bank is throttling connection traffic, the bank's website, or the URL we use to connect is unavailable, or they're completing maintenance on their services.

How can I download my account history? Sign on to Wells Fargo Online to download your account activity into a convenient spreadsheet or financial management software Quicken^® Web Connect. By default, the download will capture the last 90 days of transactions.

When you use Web Connect, you log in to your financial institution's Web site and click a button or link to initiate the download process (often called Download to Quicken). Choose Edit menu > Preferences > Web Connect. Select this check box to have Quicken save updated Web Connect data as a file on your hard drive.

Your financial data is encrypted during download. Your customer ID and password are not stored on Quicken servers. If you choose to use the Quicken Password Vault, we encrypt them on your computer's hard drive.

Error 102 (or FDP-102) is displayed when a bank is selected that is unavailable; or you have changed your sign-in information with your financial institution and the new credentials are not carried over to Quicken.

Error 155 means that your financial institution isn't allowing QuickBooks Online to automatically connect and retrieve your data.

You are unable to update the game or application. The connection has timed out. An update is needed for the game or application and error code 102-2512 is received.

Select 'Wells Fargo Advisors' as the financial institution when setting up a new brokerage account. Once you've enrolled, you will be able to access your Wells Fargo Advisors account information within two business days.

What type of connection is Wells Fargo Quicken? ›

Wells Fargo is using a technology called Web Connect. This technology automatically launches Quicken, downloads account data into your check register, and matches any transaction you've already entered into your register. Choose an account for which you would like to receive transaction activity.

After setting up Wells Fargo Business Online and Bill Pay with your software, you will be able to download your Wells Fargo account activity into your QuickBooks register, transfer funds between accountsFootnote 1 ¹, and pay bills directly from your QuickBooks Desktop software.

Physical versions of Quicken are still available at retail locations, however, these do not contain a CD copy. CD copies are no longer being produced and are not necessary for installation as Quicken can be downloaded and installed directly from our website.
